Most ISOtunes products sold in Canada are capped at 85 dB for industrial use. This aligns with CSA workplace noise limits, which generally restrict daily exposure to 85 dBA averaged over an eight-hour workday using a 3 dB exchange rate. This approach is designed to prevent hearing loss over a full working career.

Some ISOtunes models feature a SafeMax™ 90 dB limit. CSA standards are based on time-weighted average exposure, not on momentary peaks or maximum device capability. A 90 dB cap represents a maximum ceiling, not continuous exposure. In real-world use, audio levels fluctuate, and SafeMax™ technology prevents the extreme volume spikes common in consumer headphones, many of which exceed 95 to 100 dB without any built-in limitation.

ISOtunes also offers Listen Only models designed for environments with stricter industrial audio requirements. These Bluetooth-enabled products allow users to stream audio but do not support phone calls, and they limit maximum output to 82 dB.

Separately, ISOtunes offers EN352-certified models that limit output to 82 dB to comply with European safety regulations. EN352 versions maintain the same core features and performance as their standard counterparts, with volume limiting aligned to certification requirements.
